About Ramiro
Ramiro Zarate started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2007 working as a Registered Nurse. He received his Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Sonoma State University in 2009 and completed his undergrad degree at Pacific Union College. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, he worked as an RN at Queen of the Valley Hospital and Saint Helena Hospital. He specializes in Family Practice including Adult Health, Pediatric/Adolescent and Women’s health.
My approach to care
My approach to care is being able to provide the best evidence based primary care to our community.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a Family Nurse Practitioner because I realized a great need for Primary Care Providers not only in the Napa Valley but everywhere in the US. Access to basic health care is essential.
