My approach to care

My care philosophy is to treat patients with respect, compassion, and provide the treatment that I would want my family members to receive. I value the importance of listening, appreciating the uniqueness in every patient’s journey, and empowering patients through equitable care.

Why I went into healthcare

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am motivated to improve access to healthcare for patients, a way for me to support patients at their most vulnerable time. I strongly believe everyone should be able to access the care that they need, and working at OLE Health allows me to act upon those beliefs.

Something you might not know about me

Something you might not know about me is that I was born in Malaysia and spent my childhood in Malaysia before immigrating to the US. I love traveling and learning about other cultures. Traveling challenges me out of my comfort zone as an introvert and exposes me to a world different than mine. Recently, a fun pastime of mine has been trying to make creative dishes from random ingredients, and sometimes they are a hit with family.
