About Cristina
Cristina Ramos started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2019. She received her Master of Social Worker Degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2016 and completed her Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Work at California State University, Sacramento. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Cristina worked with youth and their families with complex trauma. She provided individual therapy, family therapy, case management, and advocacy. She specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused therapy, Parent-Child Psychotherapy, and Motivational interviewing.
My approach to care
My approach to care is to treat all patients with dignity and respect and meet patients where they are in their journey of healing.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker because of my own experiences as a first-generation Latina. I have a passion to support, and guide underserved populations. I want to guide people through their own personal challenges to empower patients to meet their own goals and achieve a healthy mind and body.
