Michelle Muñoz, MD
About Michelle
Dr. Michelle Muñoz started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2021. She received her Medical Degree from Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California in 2012 and completed her Bachelor of Science at University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, she was working at a FQHC in the agricultural community of Oxnard, California and completed residency training at the Ventura County Medical Center. She specializes in prenatal care, women’s health, and diabetes.
My approach to care
My approach to care is to provide culturally competent, compassionate care to a full spectrum of patients and help them feel empowered in their care.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a Family Physician because I wanted to care for the young, old, and whole family in between. I was brought up in a humble household myself. My dedication to serving the underserved stems from my desire to provide my patients with the care I wish my family and I had growing up.
