Luis Guzman, DMD
About Luis
Dr. Guzman started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2023. He received his DMD degree from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in April of 2023 and completed his B.S. in Nutritional Biology at the University of California Davis. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Dr. Guzman spent his time working as a temporary dentist in Salt Lake City, UT and most recently in Vallejo, CA. Dr. Guzman specializes in general dentistry and has experience in public health dentistry since 2014, working as a registered dental assistant while attending school.
My approach to care
My care philosophy is to provide conservative, comprehensive dental care with attention to detail and focus on patient comfort. I understand that the general public may have reservations and or anxiety when seeking dental care, so it is important to me that every person feels comfortable with the care that they receive.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a dentist because I experienced my family’s difficulties obtaining dental treatment when I was young due to their limited finances and lack of insurance, and felt that there needed to be more support for the underserved when it comes to caring for such an important part of every person’s health.
Something you might not know about me
Something you might not know about me is that I love to snowboard, watch tons of movies, and spend time with my wife, family, and two dogs! And when I get the chance, I love to take my 1970 Ford Mustang out on a cruise!
