About Shelly

Shelly Griffiths started at CommuniCare+OLE in 2014. She received their MSW from Columbia University in 2001 and completed her BA at Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to coming to CommuniCare+OLE, Shelly was at a specialty outpatient focused on treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other anxiety disorders. She specializes in treating a variety of Behavioral Health diagnoses. Additionally she has expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.

My approach to care

My approach to care is to work in collaboration with a patient and their care team at OLE Health to improve their symptoms and quality of life.

Why I went into healthcare

I became a Social Worker because I have always had a passion for helping others, particularly for those in marginalized communities/groups. I want to leave the world in a better place than I found it.
