About Kristen
Dr Kristen Glasgow, originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Rollins College in 2007. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. While in school she completed rotations focused on the treatment and management of ocular disease, surgical co-management and the fitting of specialty contact lenses (toric, bifocal, and scleral). She was also able to become proficient in medical Spanish.
My approach to care
After graduation Dr Glasgow began practicing in the Washington DC area. She enjoyed being in a private practice setting that allowed her to develop skills including dry eye management and complex contact lens fittings. After more than 7 years of practice she decided it was time to make the move to Napa Valley where she had been coming to visit family for years. Dr Glasgow is thrilled to make a home at the Napa Valley Optometric Group and is looking forward to taking care of her neighbors. When not seeing patients Dr Glasgow enjoys wine tasting, hiking and exploring the Valley.
