About Elias
Elias Banuelos MD started at CommuniCareOLE in 2022. He received his MD degree from Stanford Medical School in 1998 and completed his Bachelors Degrees at California State University at Northridge. Prior to coming to CommuniCareOLE, Dr Banuelos had a private family practice for 15 years. He specializes in complete family care including diabetes and preventative medicine.
My approach to care
My care approach to care is listening first and then responding to patient’s needs.
Why I went into healthcare
I became a family physician because my family went to our local family doctor who took care of everyone including grandparents, adults and children. He was caring, respectful, and culturally competent. So I wanted to continue giving like he did.

Something you might not know about me is that I enjoy cycling, restoring old vehicles, and gardening.
