
Teresa L. Shinder

Teresa Shinder, DO, is a graduate of the University of California-San Diego, where she obtained her bachelor of science degree in animal physiology and neuroscience. She pursued her medical degree at Touro University and completed her postdoctoral training in pediatrics at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Shinder has dedicated her career to providing care to underserved and vulnerable communities at both the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on Oahu’s rural Waianae coast, and more recently at Solano County’s FQHC, where she worked as a pediatrician and served as the Pediatric Medical Director. Dr. Shinder is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She resides in Napa with her husband and daughter.
