Napa County Needs You!

The 2016 California Voter Choice Act is bringing important voting changes to Napa County on June 5, 2018. Our Election Division needs your help in making sure that voters are aware of and ready for these changes which include every voter receiving a ballot by mail and allowing eligible citizens to register to vote and cast a ballot up to and including Election Day.

You are invited to join us on Thursday August 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the first joint meeting of the LAAC and VAAC (see agenda below). Please let your colleagues know that they are invited to be a part of this process. The meeting will be held at the Napa County Election Division, 900 Coombs St, Ste 256 with direct access from the top floor of the 2nd Street Parking garage.

We need the help of representatives from historically underserved communities in drafting the Napa County Election Administration Plan (EAP) to inform all voters about these changes. You are receiving this invitation because you can help us in forming a Language Accessibility Advisory Committee (LAAC) and a Voter Accessibility Advisory Committee (VAAC) which are key components of the outreach portion of the EAP.

Please let us know by Friday, July 28, 2017 if you are interested in serving on either committee and/or providing names of people who could be contributing members.

To RSVP or for more information please contact Registrar of Voters John Tuteur at john.tuteur@countyofnapa.org or call 707-253-4459 to be a part of this exciting opportunity!
